I'm Laura Lavoie. After almost thirty years in the technology world, I was ready for work that allowed me to connect with people in a more personal and creative way. I believe every person carries a story worth telling—one that goes deeper than the roles they play or the moments people see. Photography has given me the opportunity to help people tell those stories.


I'm drawn to capturing identity, passion, and purpose. I photograph people who are building, creating, performing, competing, imagining, and overcoming.


I focus on the moments that reveal who someone truly is—the quiet determination, the breakthrough, the celebration, the healing, the resilience, the milestone that marks a new chapter. These are the stories that deserve to be seen and remembered.
